Stayner's Wharf, located on the waterfront in downtown Halifax, is a great destination for fresh seafood, live music and a warm, hospitable atmosphere. We're famous for our panfried haddock, fish and chips and seafood chowder but we also offer mouth-watering appetizers, juicy steaks cooked to perfection and hearty pastas.
Lunch is served Monday to Friday from 11-4 featuring our daily specials and on Saturday and Sunday, our brunch menu is available from 11-3 with choices ranging to suit any level of hunger from light fare to hearty meals.
We offer 13 beers on tap including several from local breweries and a wide selection of wine from here and away. Stayner's is also known for presenting some of the best jazz and blues from Halifax and all over Canada including the late Doug Riley, Charlie A'Court, Matt Andersen and Alfie Zappacosta and we're proud to present many up-and-comers like Twin Bridges, Ian Sherwood and Sheva. Join us on Sundays from 5-9 as Jeff Goodspeed hosts our long-running jazz matinee.
Whichever time of day you choose to visit us, you can expect a warm welcome, attentive service, delicious food and a memorable experience. Stayner's Wharf Pub and Grill... Make a night of it!

Whether it's your first visit or one hundred and first, my team and I strive to ensure you have an excellent experience.
Quality is our touchstone from warm and attentive service to fresh ingredients and exacting standards for presentation. At Stayner's we love what we do, and I think you will too!
